Free-range Chickens

Free-range chickens are chickens raised in a way that allows them to roam freely outdoors, rather than being confined to a small indoor space or a cage. In general, our free-range chickens are raised where they have access to the outdoors, through a small opening in their coop and a larger fenced-in area. They also are allowed to roam freely in the pasture or in our orchard eating the windfall fruit. There are many benefits to raising chickens in a free-range environment.
